Privacy policy

This policy covers the orrery.ca website. Members’ data inside the Orrery platform is covered by each facility’s agreement with Orrery and is hosted in Canada.

What this website collects

When you book a walkthrough, we collect what you type into the form: your name, email, facility name and any optional details you add. Our website host keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser and pages requested) for security.

This website doesn’t set cookies or use analytics. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the page loads.

How we use it

Only to reply to you, book your walkthrough and prepare a quote. We don’t sell your information or add you to a mailing list without asking.

Where it’s stored

Walkthrough requests are delivered through Formspree, a service based in the United States, and then to our email. The Orrery platform itself, including your members’ data, is hosted in Canada.

How long we keep it

We delete walkthrough requests 24 months after our last contact with you, or sooner if you ask.

Your rights

Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA) you can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or withdraw your consent and have it deleted. Email info@orrery.ca and we’ll respond within 30 days.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
